Types of Engineering

Aerospace engineering

The aerospace engineers are concerned about the design, evaluation, construction, testing and performance of flight vehicles, including aircraft, helicopters, rockets and spacecraft. The course relies on the basics of fluid dynamics, materials science, structural investigation, propulsion, aerospace design, automated control and advice, and the development of computer applications. Check out of what is the future of engineering.

Agriculture engineering

With the growth in expansion and related industrial possible, Indian agriculture has been accorded the status of a business. The course on Agricultural and Food Engineering targets generating engineering graduates to fulfil the need for specialized manpower in the maturation of farm machines, water and land resources management, agricultural production and fabrication of food. To be able to satisfy the current demand of food and agricultural businesses, the course was appropriately modified to include technical instruction in design, creation, testing and selection of tractors and farm implements, irrigation, drainage and pest control with Remote Sensing and GIS; information technology, processing of food, fodder and fibre, usage of biomass, byproducts and wastes from the production of biochemicals, fuels, manure and energy. The course offers considerable flexibility to the pupils for receiving experience in any of those 3 big regions of specialty, namely, Farm Power and Machinery, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, and Food Process Engineering.

Biotechnology

The objective of this plan is to prepare the pupils, both in practice and theory, for direction from the global aggressive fields of Life Science, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology sector, academia and research. The program was created to satisfy the rising demand in these areas of business and research. Students of this program could discover unique opportunities for research and employment in the regions of biomedical engineering, drug design, bioinformatics, biotechnology, nano-biotechnology, genomics etc… The course is designed to introduce biology as an experimental science, compared to its widely perceived belief as a descriptive topic. The pupils will also discover the application of a broad array of methods in physical, chemical and mathematical sciences such as designing, implementing and interpreting experiments in mathematics.

Biotechnology

Chemical engineering

Chemical engineers work in varied fields such as oil refining, fertilizer technology, processing of agricultural and food goods, artificial foods, petrochemicals, artificial fibres, coal and mineral-based businesses, and prevention and management of environmental contamination. Chemical engineering is concerned with the evolution and improvement of procedures, design, construction, performance, management and security of the crops for all these procedures and study in these regions.

Civil engineering

A civil engineer is concerned with planning, investigation, design, construction and maintenance of an assortment of facilities including buildings, highways and railways, airports, waterways and canals, dams and power homes, water treatment and wastewater disposal methods, environmental excellent management, docks and harbours, tunnels and bridges. A civil engineer can also be required to Manage critical issues of today like disaster management and mitigation, assembling offshore structures for petroleum production,

Chemical engineering

Some chemical engineers create designs and devise new procedures. Some build facilities and instruments. Some strategy and function centres. Chemical engineers also have helped develop nuclear science, polymers, paper, dyes, drugs, fertilizers, plastics, foods, petrochemicals… pretty much anything. They invent methods to create products from raw materials and approaches to convert 1 substance into another helpful form. Chemical engineers can create procedures more cost-effective or environmentally friendly or much more efficient. As you may see, a chemical engineer could get a market in any scientific or engineering area.

Mechanical engineering

Plus they affect the design of different products too – shoes, light bulbs and even doors. Other people cross over into other areas, working on everything from artificial organs into the expanding field of nanotechnology. And a few use their mechanical engineering degree as preparation for the practice of law and medicine. The mechanical engineer might design a part, a system, a method or a procedure. Mechanical engineers will examine their design with the principles of movement, energy, and force to ensure that the item works safely, economically, reliably, and could be fabricated at a competitive price.

Electrical engineering

Electrical engineering is concerned with all the fundamental kinds of energy that run our planet. When it’s gas, hydro, turbine, fuel cell, solar, geothermal, or wind energy, electric engineers cope with dispersing these energies in their resources to our houses, factories, offices, hospitals, and colleges. Electrical engineering also entails the exciting area of electronics and information technology. Have you got a mobile telephone or a computer? Wireless communication and the Internet are only a couple of areas electric engineering has assisted thrive, by creating phones that are better, more powerful computers, and high-speed modems. As we enter the 21st century, the new technology that surrounds us will continue to enlarge and electrical engineers ‘ are le Manner

Electronics and communication engineering

Design, manufacture, maintain, manage, and produce electronic equipment employed in the entertainment media, in hospitals, in the computer business, for communicating and in protection. Electronics engineers work with devices that use extremely tiny quantities of power. They operate with microprocessors, fibre optics, and in telecommunication, television, and radio.

Production engineering

These deals with integrated design and efficient preparation of the whole manufacturing procedure, which is becoming more and more complex with the development of innovative, production procedures and management systems. Job and Scope: Opportunities can be found in private and public sector manufacturing companies participated in implementation, management and development of new generation procedure, information and management systems and computer-controlled review, handling and assembly. Biomedical Engineering: Biomedical engineering (BME) is the use of engineering principles and practices in the health care field. It unites both the design and problem-solving skills of engineering with biological and medical sciences to help enhance patient health care and the quality of life of people.
